Albert King is known mostly for his intense slow blues playing, but his style also works really well over an uptempo rockin’ beat. The 12-bar solo you’ll learn in this lesson comes from a live performance of the song “Killing Floor” off of the “Blues At Sunset” album. There are only a few licks, and all of them are similar. But Albert was a master of nuance, and within these few licks, there’s a full range of expression - enough to cover 12-bars.
