In this lesson we're looking at the intro to Killing Floor, as covered by Jimi Hendrix. This is a fast, syncopated rhythm that Jimi played so fast that it's hard to make sense of what you're hearing. But when you slow it down and clean it up, you'll find two simple patterns responsible for "that" sound. In this lesson I'll teach you both patterns note-for-note.
TXBA Locals will also get SoundSlice tablature with this lesson, along with Instant Loops pre-programmed around each individual part of the Demonstration.
Join the TXBA Email list and we'll notify you whenever a new free lesson is published.
In addition, we send out free blues backing tracks periodically. These tracks are not posted on the website. They're only sent out to the email list.
