In this lesson I break down that sliding lick that SRV did on his cover of the Jimi Hendrix tune 'Voodoo Chile' (Slight Return)'. The focus of the lesson is the different techniques that are used to descend and ascend the fretboard on the G string, without using your pick. All the energy in the string comes from slides, hammer-ons, and pull-offs.
