May 16th, 2014

The next time you're at a blues jam, don't be the guy who plays the same rhythm lick all the way through the song. Albert King's recording of this song had a GREAT rhythm guitar part, and that's what I'll teach you in this lesson.

  • No backing track for this?

    • Thanks for pointing that out. I forgot to upload and link that track to this lesson. If you refresh it should be there now.

  • Hey Anthony, it would be so cool if you could make a few videos on the “Hendrix Blues” album. “Once I had a Woman”,”Catfish Blues”, “Bleeding Heart”, “Born Under A Bad Sign”, and “Manish Boy” are some of my favorite Blues songs. I bought that album when it came out in the 90s and I still can’t stop listening to it. I’ve been trying to learn these songs for years. Your videos are the only lessons that work for me. I love the way I can see exactly what your fingers are doing. Please help me out with these blues classics. In my opinion “Hendrix Blues” is Hendrix at his very best… live in the studio.
