Texas Blues existed before SRV, but he embodied the spirit and sound of Texas Blues at a time when popular music lacked substance and authenticity. His astonishing technicality and raw, gritty playing brought legions of new fans to the genre, and his influence has only grown larger since his untimely death.
SRV was my biggest influence (surprise, surprise), and I have authored more courses about his playing than any other player or topic - it's not even close. And this collection of courses is the largest SRV-focused collection anywhere in the world.
You can find SRV-focused courses elsewhere, but usually they are taught by someone who is proficient in several other styles. What makes my courses uniquely effective is that I have spent most of my playing years in this style, learning it the same way Stevie learned from his influences, and can teach it using plain english with minimal theory knowledge required.
