4 Fret Albert King Style Bends

Feb 18th, 2011

If you pay close attention to Albert King's playing, you'll hear some bends that aren't easily replicated with standard 'Box 2' bending. That's because at times, he's bending 3 or 4 frets from a lower note, to the same target note. The result is a bend with more tension, and a noticeably lower starting point. In this lesson I show you how you can replicate this sound.
