How To Play That I Chord Embellishment In Pride And Joy

Once you're comfortable playing the fundamentals of the Texas Shuffle rhythm heard in Pride And Joy, it's time to add some polish with chord embellishments on the transitions. In this free lesson I'll show you how to embellish the I chord during the transition between repetitions of the main rhythm. There's some careful picking and muting required, but once you get it right, the rhythm become much more lively.
