Details
These were the stock pickups in my Don Grosh Retro Classic. They are wound a bit hotter than the Vintage Hots, but I’ve never done a direct comparison. Like the Vintage Hots, they sounded fantastic.
I eventually put Zexcoil pickups in all my Strats because I got really fed up with the hum that normal single coil pickups suffers from. I loved how these pickups sounded, but ultimately the Zexcoils were by far the best option for me.
