In this lesson you'll learn a very cool (and deceptively hard) lick in Box 3 that repeats over and over before resolving to the root note. It can be used over two parts of a 12-bar progression: Bar 5 to 8, and Bar 9 to 12. What makes it difficult is that it is very hard to get the right sound and timing without picking every note, and to do it at the right speed requires you to use alternate picking. If you've never worked on alternate picking, you'll find out when you try to play this lick.

In addition, we send out free blues backing tracks periodically. These tracks are not posted on the website. They're only sent out to the email list.
