In his cover of Kenny Burrell's song "Chitlins con Carne", Stevie Ray Vaughan played octaves over the melody, but at times it sounds like there's a 3rd octave on top. In this lesson, I'll show you how this 3rd octave could be played using an E-Form chord shape.
