Why it’s hard to sound like Jimi Hendrix

Learning Jimi's licks is one thing, sounding just like him is a completely different thing. If you've never thought about the things that made Hendrix sound the way he did, you might get frustrated trying to copy his sound. But there's a very good reason that his sound is more difficult to capture. In this video I'll talk about Jimi's style, through the lense of a long-time SRV fanatic. I'll compare and contrast their styles, and why it's easier to sound like Stevie than Jimi.
