Learning the style of SRV in my formative years had many benefits, but it also came with a few drawbacks. I developed a very heavy attack on the strings, and that made my playing very 1-dimensional. In this lesson, I'll show you how I try to create the instincts to play with a lighter touch, using one of my favorite picking drills.
