It's pretty easy to tell when someone is stuck inside of Box 1 and doesn't know how to mix in the major notes that lie just inside (and outside) the shape. In this lesson, I'll teach you 4 B.B. King licks that break you out of your Box 1 habit, mixing in all the notes that you're missing. These licks fit together as a phrase at the start of a 12-bar chorus in a swing blues song like "Every Day I Have The Blues".
