The performance of “Texas Flood” at the El Mocambo show is legendary, and SRV’s playing is certainly a big part of that. But one factor most guitar players don’t consider is Tommy Shannon’s role. In this lesson, I’ll show you how one small change during the solos helped give Stevie’s playing an extra boost. You can learn to solo like SRV in “Texas Flood” (no matter what skill level you’re currently at) using my course called “Texan Floods”: https://texasbluesalley.com/woodshed/courses/texan-floods
