Here's a little soloing tip I picked up from Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown in his song "Okie Dokie Stomp". This song has a swinging jump blues rhythm, and it's really easy to get behind the beat if you're not careful. I'll show you a simple hammer-on/pull-off sequence that helps you stay on the beat while descending through Box 1.
