Each time you're playing an E-Form chord, there's a C-Form version of that same chord just 5 frets higher. Here's how you can transition from the E-Form to the C-Form version of a chord using a diagonal Major Pentatonic pattern. This pattern starts at the root of the E-Form chord and walks you right up into the C-Form version of the chord.
