In the song "Side Tracked" by Freddie King, there's a rhythm pattern that involves Freddie going back and forth between two notes of a chord. The notes are simple, but the secret to the sound is identifying which one is hit on the downbeat of the bar. I'll play it both ways to illustrate the difference.
