Description
The 2012 rendition of the Thanksgiving Ballad, featuring a Leslie speaker I had just purchased, and the first appearance of Zexcoil pickups on my site.
In this video I'm playing a ballad that borrows heavily from 'While We Cry' by Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and 'Yellow Ledbetter' by Pearl Jam. I'm using my Mexican strat with newly installed Zexcoil Hum Canceling pickups into a Samamp VAC 40 Series 2 amp which feeds into a Leslie Model 16 cabinet. During the heavy part I switch on a Wampler Ecstasy Overdrive and a Boss PQ-4 EQ pedal.
