Description
This video will explain the 4 things I test when evaluating any overdrive pedal. These 4 things will show you how well the pedal will work with your amp and whether it's the right pedal for you. In this video I'll use 4 different pedals with varying degrees of complexity from a basic TS-808 to a full-featured Wampler Dual Fusion.
The 4 things I test are:
- How much distortion is it capable of producing?
- How pleasing is that distortion?
- How transparent is it at minimum distortion?
- How flexible are the EQ controls?
