Details
There are plenty of Klon Centaur clones available, but the Wampler Tumnus is the first mini-klone available. It packs a lot of tone into a very small package. It functions equally well as a mostly clean boost, or as the primary source of dirt for lead tones. The signature low-midrange bump from the original can be found in the Tumnus, and the treble, while bright, is never harsh. There’s a certain “fullness” in the low/midrange of this pedal that makes it sound very big.
