I have found looping to be one of the most useful tools for learning guitar solos. In fact, when I was first starting out, looping was the only tool I had.
Looping isn't complicated, you just pick a start, end, and then begin looping.
But..... what if it could be easier? Wouldn't it be great if you could get the loop perfect and start using it with a single click?
Well, now you can, thanks to a new feature called Instant Loops.
Instant Loops are loops that I've pre-defined for our soloing demonstrations and lessons. When you're viewing a video in the Pro Player, there will be a list of loops in the sidebar. All you have to do is click on a loop and the player instantly begins looping over the correct section of the video.
Here's a video I made to explain more about Instant Loops and how to use them.
Instant Loops FAQ
Here's a few questions you might have about this new feature. If you have a question that's not addressed here, leave it in the comments and I can add it to this list.
Who can use Instant Loops?
Instant Loops are available to people who join our TXBA Locals program.
How do I use Instant Loops?
Instant loops are available in most course demonstrations and lesson videos. When you’re watching a video with instant loops available, there will be a loop icon in the upper left of the Pro Player. Clicking that icon will open the list of instant loops available for that video. Click on any loop in the list to start looping over that section of the video.
Can I use instant loops with my downloaded courses?
Unfortunately not. Since I can’t control the software you use to play the videos, there’s no way for me to package the data about the loops with the videos. This is a feature that I can only provide online using the our own Pro Player.
What parts of a lesson have Instant Loops?
If you’re watching a demonstration video for a course, there will be instant loops available for each individual lick in the solo.
if you’re watching a lesson video, there will be instant loops for the individual lick demonstrations in that lesson.
Do all courses have Instant Loops?
