This course will teach you to solo like John Mayer in a ballad-style song like Gravity.
Overview
Ever since the John Mayer Trio album Try! was released in 2005, the song Gravity has been a favorite of his guitar-playing fans. Studio recordings of the song featured impossibly delicate soft playing, and his live performances added some fantastic fireworks.
I captured both ends of that spectrum in this course. You’ll learn a 4+ minute solo that is both soft and powerful, delicate and brutal, slow and fast. If you love the song Gravity, you’ll love this course.
Who's It For?
This course is suitable for Intermediate and Advanced players. It features soloing that ranges from moderate to very fast. It will be most useful to players interested in ballad style soloing and who want to work on mixing major and minor while soloing.
You won’t need to know any theory to use this course, but prior experience with Essential Theory, The 5 Essential Blues Boxes, and Essential Fretboard will make some things make more sense.
