Love Again In The Style of “Life Without You" By Stevie Ray Vaughan

The soloing portion of Life Without You sounds like a hurricane crossed with a love song. It’s beautiful, powerful, elegant, and ferocious all at once. Stevie used this song as a platform to testify about his brush with death and his road to recovery. Some of his most spectacular playing usually followed his testimony.

Several of these live performances were my inspiration for the solos in the Love Again lessons. I’ve tried to capture the feeling of that moment, right after the testimony, when he dug deep into that bend and let it rip.
