In this exercise, we'll add a picking component to the spider drills taught throughout this site. Usually, the Spider Drills are done without picking, and you are supposed to keep your fingers on the strings, moving one finger at a time.
However, for this modification of the drill, we're removing the restriction about keeping your fingers on the strings until they're supposed to move because we're going to be picking each note as we move our fingers. Like the original drills, this will help develop your fretting hand endurance but will also work your picking hand precision and the synchronization between both hands.
