AmpliTube is a amp and pedal simulator that is available for the desktop and iPhone/iPad. It is one of the only simulators that I’ve been pleased enough with to consider using for actual recording. I always prefer to use a real amp when I can, but if for some reason I cannot, I know that Amplitube will allow me to get tones that I am happy with.

Uses

I mainly use it on my iMac with a couple of Custom Shop amps. I really like the Dual Showman model amp with two of the Tubescreamer pedal simulators stacked in front of it.
