After many cycles of not playing guitar, losing my technique and endurance, and having to slowly build it back up, I decided to prevent these relapses by making one of my guitars extremely hard to play, and doing my daily drills on it. This has allowed me to push the limits of my hand/forearm strength and endurance with just a few minutes of work each day. Even if I'm not feeling creatively inspired to play guitar, I can make sure that the next time I do my technique is sharp and my hands are ready.
