Learn to solo like SRV in the song Cold Shot, no matter your skill level.
Overview
Cold Shot oozes that Texas Blues swing, but from a soloing perspective, the studio version is relatively tame. Stevie’s live performances of this song were more intense. So, I took the studio version’s relaxed, laid-back feel and added some fireworks from the live performances.
The Shooting Cold lesson solos are based on that combination of sophistication and flair. Each solo starts in a relaxed groove, building gradually to a crescendo at the end of the third chorus. These lessons are among the easiest in the Solo Matrix - at all skill levels.
