Overview
Playing Texas Flood is like therapy for me. When I first saw Stevie’s El Mocambo performance of this song, I was transfixed, frozen in my seat. It was like hearing my thoughts and emotions from the TV, and I wasn’t even playing.
I learned as much as possible from that performance, absorbing every nuance, every bend and accent. But mostly, I learned how to express the raw energy and passion that first got me hooked.
