I bought this amp for a great price because it needed upgraded power tubes. After upgrading the tubes it sounded fantastic, however even at 40 watts, it was still too powerful for what I needed. That’s the biggest problem with the Hot-Rod amps, too much power for what most people need. I sold the amp shortly after purchasing my first Blues Junior.
